Strawberry Matcha latte

This Strawberry Matcha Latte combines fresh strawberries and matcha into a refreshing fruity, milky drink!

INGREDIENTS

- fresh or frozen strawberries - sweetener of choice

- milk (dairy or plant-based) - ice (optional)

How to Make Strawberry Matcha Latte

Step 1 : Strawberry Layer Blend strawberries in a food processor or heat them in a small saucepan until soft and syrup is released. Place them at the bottom of a serving glass

Step 2: Milk Layer Add ice (if using) and cold milk.

Step 4 Serve immediately!

Step 3: Matcha Layer Whisk matcha and sweetener in hot milk or hot water until frothy (or use a milk frother). Divide the mixture and gently pour over the strawberry and milk layers.

How to Make Strawberry Matcha Latte

Tips and Tricks

Use good quality matcha for the best flavour and taste. If you prefer a "smoother" strawberry layer,  blend until smooth. Use a liquid-based sweetener if blending the strawberry layer in a blender (or food processor) to make sure it dissolves. If using the saucepan method, you can use a solid-sweetener such as sugar.
